Privacy Policy
Effective during the UNALGORA public Beta.
What UNALGORA stores
UNALGORA stores account information you provide, profile fields, posts, comments, photos, Likes, friendships, Circle memberships, messages, settings, and security records needed to operate the service. Birth dates are hidden unless you explicitly choose to show them.
Visibility and search engines
Public profiles, Public posts, and Public Circles may be visible without an account and may be indexed. Friends-only, Only-me, Private Circle, message, notification, account-security, and hidden profile information is not made public. You may disable profile indexing in Account settings without making the profile itself private.
Messages and relationships
One-to-one messages are available only between accepted friends while neither account blocks the other. Messages are encrypted at rest with server-held keys, but are not end-to-end encrypted. Muting privately filters ordinary content; blocking ends friendship and new direct interaction without deleting historical content.
Circles and moderation
Public Circle pages and posts may be publicly accessible. Private Circle content is limited to approved active members. Circle and site moderators retain the access required to perform legitimate moderation under their assigned authority.
Security, providers, and account lifecycle
Passwords are hashed, sensitive action tokens expire and are single-use, and HTTPS protects transport. UNALGORA uses configured email delivery, Cloudflare Turnstile, local media processing, and the disclosed Ko-fi widget. Deactivation retains but hides account data; confirmed deletion removes account-associated data subject to necessary retained audit and conversation history described by the service.
